 Where we are and more information to reach
our hostel...
Our hotel 2 stars is situated a few minutes away from Corso Buenos Aires, famous shopping street, at 10 minutes to
Piazza Loreto, where you can find the Underground line 1(red) and 2(green).
At 100 meters there is the Tram n.33 stop to reach easily the Central Railway Station and by car it´s possible to reach
in just 3 minutes the East Ring Road (Tangenziale Est) - Lambrate Exit.
Hotel La Pace is situated at 700 meters away
from Città Studi, where you can find
Milan Polytechnic (Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci and Via Ampere), prestigious science and technology university,
and some Public University´s faculties ( Agricolture, Veterinary Science and Physics), between Via Celoria and Via Mangiagalli.
Thanks to underground lines and surface public
transport it´s easy to reach the old
town centre, the Fair Center of Rho-Pero (FieraMilano) and the main museum and monuments:
- Underground - red line (MM1): you can reach quickly the Duomo, Milan Fair Center and the new Fair Center in Rho-Pero;
- Underground - green line (MM2): you can reach quickly the Pinacoteca di Brera (Picture Gallery), the Scala Theatre, "La Triennale"
Museum and the area of
Sant´Ambrogio,
where you can visit the
famous Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci in the Refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Besides from Loreto underground stop you
can reach Cadorna Station,
where it´s
possible to take the
Malpensa Express´s
train (every 30 minutes)
to the Intercontinental
Airport.

By plane
From Milan´s Malpensa Airport there are 2 options:
1) Take the Malpensa Express´s train and get off to Cadorna Station.
From there take the underground, green line (MM2), direction Cascina Gobba/Gessate/Cologno, and get off to Loreto (9 stops);
Then walk along Via Porpora (about 500 meters) and after 2 traffic lights there is Via Catalani and our Hotel is on the left.
2) Take the Shuttle bus to the Central Railway Station.
From there take the underground, green line (MM2), direction Cascina Gobba/Gessate/Cologno, and get off to Loreto (2 stops).
Then walk along Via Porpora (about 500 meters) and after 2 traffic lights there is Via Catalani and our Hotel is on the left.
From Milan´s Linate Airport take shuttle bus no. 73 to Piazza San Babila.
From there take the underground, red line
(MM1), direction Sesto, and get
off to the Loreto stop (4 stops).
Then walk along Via Porpora (about 500 meters)
and after 2 traffic lights there is Via Catalani
and our Hotel is on the left.
From Milan´s Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo), take the Shuttle bus to
the Central Railway Station.
From there take the underground, green line (MM2), direction Cascina Gobba/Gessate/Cologno, and get off to Loreto (2 stops).
Then walk along Via Porpora (about 500 meters)
and after 2 traffic lights there is Via Catalani
and our Hotel is on the left.
By train
From the Central Railway Station take the underground, green line (MM2), direction Cascina Gobba/Gessate/Cologno, and get off to Loreto (2 stops).
Then walk along Via Porpora (about 500 meters) and after 2 traffic lights there is Via Catalani and our Hotel is on the left.
It´s also possible to take a surface public means:
From the Central Railway Station take Tram n. 33, direction Rimembranze Lambrate, and get off to Via Porpora (corner Viale Lombardia).
After the crossing go through Via Porpora and at 50 meters you will find Via Catalani and our Hotel is on the left.
By car
From the motorways take the Tangenziale Est (East Ring Road) until coming to the Lambrate exit (exit 8).
At the traffic lights turn left and drive down Via Rombon, following signs to the city centre.
After the tunnel drive straight down Via
Porpora.
After 600 meters you will find Via Catalani
and our Hotel is on the right.
